Where You Can Learn of the Many Types of Hexbugs and Hexbug Habitats
Toys built upon educational concepts, for instance science, can teach something in the process of having fun as well. When an educational toy is so fun that the person playing with it doesn't even think about or notice that he or she is learning something while playing, that is even more remarkable. One such toy is the hexbug.

Hexbugs act like real living insects but are actually micro robots that will have a response to a variety of things some of which are sounds like hand clapping, the shining of a bright light or a touch such as bumping into an obstacle of some kind which then makes it change directions. A variety of ages of people enjoy collecting quite a few hexbugs and planning out and building homes for their hexbugs, which are called habitats. It can be quite fun, even thrilling, when you have a lot of these hexbugs to put them loose in their habitat and watch them scatter about in a variety of directions, with motions close to those of real bugs. They're also educational but children and other age groups having all that fun may not even realize they are learning something while playing with these interesting scientific toys.
